Nikkor 35mm 1:1.8G test photo

Just recently bought Nikon's lens a AF-S 35mm f1.8G lens (DX) for my Nikon D5100 dslr. Was only able to take indoor photo of a flower in my room. Hopefully I'll be able to use it more outside and post more photos on my blog. Compared to my other lens kit this lens is really sharp and clear in terms of short distance photo's.

Tokyo Sky Tree

Tokyo Soramachi-large Shopping Center located under the Sky Tree. 

I recently went to Tokyo Sky Tree, one of the worlds tallest broadcast tower located in Sumida ku-Tokyo. The tower is magnificent, height reaching 634 meters.  The photos are taken during the night with nice night LED lighting. the LED's are made from one of Japanese premier LED manufactures Panasonic giving a nice
violet look on the tower itself, along with the surroundings.

The Tokyo Soramachi located below the tower itself is a large shopping facility with all the needs from casual clothing, food, and toy stores. The tower itself is located close to Oshiage Train station, it is on a few minute walk.

What I found astonishing was this store below. (Donguri Kyouwa Koku). A shop dedicated to Studio Ghibli yes those famous animation like Howl's moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away etc etc...this shop was filled with both locals and many foreigners wanting something memorable on the trip. A must see location when coming here to sightsee.
